Pro-Drive Ireland is the newest addition in Professional driver & education in the Midlands & West of Ireland.
Our Aim is to deliver a professional service second to none !
As the owner of Pro-Drive Ireland I personally deliver in class tutoring.
Our belief is that adult education should be fun, exciting and delivered in a relaxed environment to help you reach success in whatever goals that you have set.
The manner we achieve this is through over twenty five years in the transport industry having personally driven everything from a motorcycle to a bus , a formula three car and a 35ft sailing yacht. I started my career in my early twenties training and qualifying as a Motor Vehicle Technician successfully achieving City & Guilds qualifications. Following this I qualified and certified with the I.A.E.A. the Institute of Automotive Engineers and Assessors in the UK. During this period I worked for Direct Line as an Insurance Assessor.
On returning to Ireland in 2003 I worked for Pro-Metric Ireland driving a Mobile Rigid Unit as a Driver Theory Test Administrator then moving on to work as an NCT Vehicle Safety inspector for five years.
After that time I was introduced to Driver CPC training by a Mentor and colleague Philip Rice of Advance Drive Training in Galway. Since then I have completed my own further education in becoming a Manual Handling Instructor, First Aid Responder and Certificate of Professional Competence In Road Haulage Transport thus becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.
My belief is we are never too old to education and here at Pro-Drive Ireland
